The hotel is very nice situated, 5 minutes away from the center.
The room is very comfortable and there's a very good bed. The bar and the pool are very nice to relax.

But the badroom was very dirty with hair form the previous hotel guest, chalk stains on the floor was not cleaned properly, there were stains of water leakage on the ceiling and mold in the seams of the bathtub.

And there was a hotel employee (Ludovic) who was very arrogant and who did not listen to his hotel guests; he seemed to know everything better and according to him, nothing was how I saw it.

Though I like the idea of local flavor and the hospitality of a bed and breakfast, the location of this hotel so close (15 minute stroll) to the historic district and being an IHG member swayed my decision. Nicolas on the front desk was a great resource and help to us as was Guillaume Bordes.We enjoyed the breakfast each morning - an amazing variety of choice. A few opportunities for improvement; it seemed that both coffe machines were never working at the same time; the eggs seemed to be like the powdered eggs I used to eat in the Navy. The thing that made it incredibly enjoyable for my wife was that the front desk set the temperature cold enough for her. Every time we arrived back to the room she was so happy to walk into a cool refreshing room. The rain shower head in the shower was great and the water was plenty hot and forceful. The bed was very comfortable. Having a small fridge is very nice for keeping some cold water handy. The coffee maker was awesome with an assortment of pods. There was a kettle for hot chocolate or tea. Parking underground was clean and well lit. The shoe shine machine and ice maker were convenient and useful. But the highlight was the English speaking front desk staff and their helpfulness. Thanks Nicolas and Guillaume!

This was just a one night stopover for a short business trip.
Welcome reception was friendly and quick, as well as the check out.
I did get my membership upgrade, the room was fine as well in the quiet floor. All as expected for this Price class, and welcome bonus as well.
The rooms and floors had nothing really to complain. Breakfast is great as always and a highlight with a stunning view, as I never stayed there before and was looking forward to it. Location is perfect in walking distance to the old center and also to all transportation, close to Old town student nightlife and several shopping offers. Security was high and important. Staff friendly and professional. Definetely a good choice to come back for a quick business meeting.
