Description: The unique menu remained unchanged since the beginning. This formula is a decked slice of sirloin of 170 grams accompanied by french fries and its famous sauce. His son Henry, opened a restaurant in Toulouse in 1962, in Bordeaux in 1966, in Nantes in 1980, in Montpellier in 1990, and finally, in Lyon in 1999. These restaurants are characterized by scots and black mural, a lemon yellow topping and hostesses dressed with yellow apron and black blouse. The exterior is beautified by yellow and black blinds vertical stripes for the best effect.

This must be the best steak we have ever had. One 'Bleu' and one 'A Point' ' both delicious with the speciality sauce. Both melted in the mouth and probably the best flavour ever tasted. The fine frites were also really wonderful. The other surprises were the additional steak brought on a separate plate and also the offer of extra chips. The wine was also excellent. Finally the service was very good as well; cannot speak too highly of this newly discovered restaurant. Would recommended to all and also very central.

“For Red Meat Lovers”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

The choice is simple - bleu or seignante - but the quality of the meat in superb. Combined with a delicious secret (anchovy caper and butter with a little garlic) sauce and alumettes chips this has to be a must visit for carnivores. Reasonable wines - in half sizes too if you are driving - and a central location just off the Place de la Comedie. Can't wait to revisit!

“Easy, fun and atmospheric”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

What you see is what you get! The only decisions are how you want your steak cooked, what you want to drink, and which dessert you fancy. Queues formed every evening and lunchtime during our stay waiting for opening time or for a table. Families, couples, groups, French and non-French. the set starter is a salad with walnuts a delicious walnut dressing, then comes superbly cooked steak and frites accompanied by a 'silver' tray of additional steak in their " secret" and very tasty sauce. We were offerred a second helping of frites but declined as the original plated helping had been so enormous. There was a choice of about 6 desserts.

“All right on a Sunday night”
Reviewed May 1, 2013

It had a single menu of salad followed by sliced steak and chips. It was ok but it was a very busy night and everything was very squeezed and rushed. It was not good for a quiet evening over a glass of wine. The price was reasonable, and the desert menu had a wider choice.
