We booked La Girafe based on recommendations and were not disappointed. We arrived at 8:30 and were the only diners there. However by 9:30 the restaurant was full. The menu is not extensive but would have something to suit everyone. Foie Gras isnt politically correct these days but as a topping on a savoury apricot tart was delicious served with petit green salad. As main the Poitrinede Canard (Duck breast) and Fillet de Boeuf were both cooked perfectly and complemented with a selection of perfectly cooked fresh vegetables and .. rather unusually, mashed potato. The strawberry soup desert was delicious and refreshing. My chocolate fondue was a little unimaginative but tasty nonetheless. Overall an excellent restaurant well worth a visit.
