The waitress has a wonderful personality and does her job exactly as she should!
The food is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. Love it and will go back tomorrow which is our last day unfortunately.

My wife and I had lunch in L'Andalou on a Saturday (which tends to be a quiet day) in Collioure. When we sat down we were the only people in the restaurant and it remained that way for the whole lunch. In the background reggae music created a nice relaxed and laid back atmosphere. The owner, Vinicius (from Brazil) exudes a simple charm as he moved from kitchen to front of house and back. His love of the food is ever present in the quality and its presentation.
We both had anchovies (the local delicacy) to start. Vinicius talked us through the different types of anchovies and let us sample other anchovies which we hadn't chosen - simple but delicious.
For the main course my wife had grilled prawns and I had grilled sardines with a salad iberica - again simple but delicious.
For dessert we both had panna cotta.
The owner's passion for the food was demonstrated in every morsel and he wanted to talk about it and explain the ingredients and flavours.
We had a wonderful time!

Small friendly restaurant, located in a narrow street off the old port, serves good value Spanish food. Excellent paella (and you don't have to order it for 2 people, as in many other places).
