In a location, right on the beach, that would make you think it is a tourist trap. Completely not the case. I found this place out of a travel guide and highly recommend it to fellow Travel Advisor readers. It is all the way at the end of the beach, past St. Vincent’s Church nestled in at the bottom of the walkway to the lighthouse. The tuna was fresh and perfectly prepared. I always just go with the house red wine when I am in France or Italy. They served a local which was excellent and inexpensive.

“Good Location shame about the food”
Reviewed September 23, 2008

This restaurant has a fabulous location on the beach just past the church and tower.
The menu is too extensive and the food quite simply is very average to poor.
When I ate there the staff were busy trying to defrost a fridge and were making a lot of noise.
The sardines were cooked okay but they were not fresh and I suspect were frozen, which is crazy with the fishing port of Port Vendres only a 10 minute drive away.
The catalan sausage was tough and overcooked.
this could be such a good little place but it needs to have a smaller menu but with good local produce.
A woman's touch wouldnt go amiss either!!
