First off, I want to thank the owner, Sabrina, who allowed my group of 9 to stay for just one night and to make arrangements for all 9 of us. In additional to a very cool, historic house/property that was the site of monastery, The bathrooms were are remodeled and nice. The house was exceptionally clean. More importantly, Sabrina was the difference maker. We didn't have a lot of time to stay at the property since we visited medieval Carcassonne including an evening concert in the castle. However, Sabrina made the check-in and out exceptionally easy. Sabrina also gave us great travel tips on what to see, where to park and how to get there. Sabrina lives in a house next door so we got to meet her husband and dog. One highlight was a generous and plentiful breakfast buffet that Sabrina prepared for our party of nine. Fantastic breakfast, fresh foods and homemade jams. The breakfast came at an added charge and was well worth it. We even had leftovers for some sandwiches for the road. The only negative was the softness of my Queen sized mattress which made sleeping difficult since the lack of firmness pushed my wife and I together into the middle of the bed on top of each other. Unfortunately, this was not a marital aid. I am sure Sabrina will correct this situation. Since getting a good nights sleep is a big element of staying on the road, this is the only reason this is not a 5 star rating.
