It is hard to write an objective review about a restaurant that jangles the heart strings and makes you feeel at home before you have tasted anything. It is just such a wonderful place to be. On top of that there is just one menu at Euro 28 including a Kir to start and three superb courses - it is hard to imagine better value or more pleasure per Euro anywhere. It is not just the food (Pan fried mit -cuit foie gras - odd but fabulous, Pavé of Basque pork so tender it just melts,...) but the sheer audacity of the wild presentation that makes Clos so special. We NEVER come to Carcassonne without a visit - simply unbeatable at the price for gourmets and gourmandes!
