A small but very lovely place. Parking available although very busy (they have an overflow car park) The gift shop was big with lots of lovely gifts. The assistant was very good and spoke with us in English which was kind. Not a great amount of animals, but lots of each species - all animals were very healthy and happy. We highly recommend the tours with park assistants including a talk about kangaroos (in French) handle parakeets, get close to wallabies and feed ostrich’s. This was excellent and the highlight of the trip which is why I’d recommend it. (Be careful with your timings - they are not always at the right time - make sure you’re at the meeting point early or follow crowds) Lots of games and Aboriginal themed activities and areas for children including a park. A good set menu at €11.50 but we chose not to eat here, lots of picnic benches. It was very busy which was great for the park. We spent 3 hours here, perhaps you could spend longer with children.

Spent a lovely few hours here today. We cycled up from central Carcassonne and although hilly it is doable! Loved the park and the animals. It is compact but there is so much to see. We walked around the park several times and found different features each time. The snack bar was not open but the gift shop sold some very nice sandwiches, crisps and drinks. The park is well managed and the staff very welcoming. Tours seem to be in French but there is so much to see it doesn't matter. Feeding the budgies was a personal favourite! Please visit because it is a place I feel needs support. Depending on the season I would recommend taking a pic nic because they do have a nice area to eat them. It is not a big park but we felt a special park and we will certainly will return.

This place is da bomb if you do the tour. Shout out to the crazy budgies, greedy ostriches and Roger the kangaroo.

Went with family and loved it. Getting up close to wallabies, feeding budgies and ostriches as well as seeing kangaroos and other animals was excellent. The tour is long at just over an hour but worth it for doing the animal feeding that happens towards the end. We are not French speakers so a lot of it went over our heads but staff were very friendly. There is a variety of challenges too (like an adventure playground) which were fun.
