Minerve is a Medieval village not far from its famous neighbor, Carcassonne. It sits atop a high rock, which is the main reason that its Medieval houses have survived so well. There's not much there except the experience of stepping back in time and enjoying modern views of the countryside. Also, if you have a GPS, consider striking off cross country, particularly over the mountains, for amazing views and quaint villages. Just drive and lose yourself in the beautiful countryside
