The apartment really does have the amazing view shown in the listing and is in a good location walking distance to both the city and to the town. There is a little 'corner' store nearby for quick provisions. Apartment was comfortable, warm and had all that we needed. Hosts (English) were lovely and had also offered to pick us up from the train station which was much appreciated.

We spent four nights in this apartment and marvelled at the stunning view of the cite every night. The apartment has recently been renovated and is lovely, just as the pictures show. It is very well situated for visits to the Cite, about ten minutes away and also for the new city, about five minutes. There's little shops round the corner at both ends of the street. There's also a good selection of cafes and restaurants on the street down to the Pont Vieux. Inga, the owner very kindly picked us up from the airport and gave us information and directions of places to visit while there. We took a very relaxing trip on the Canal Du Midi. Also recommended is a one Euro bus trip to the lake which has a little sandy beach. It's lovely to walk round. Inga had a little free time and took us to the airport on our last day. She really does go out of her way to be helpful. Thank you Inga, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We spent a great week at the apartment which is well situated for the sights of Carcassonne. Only a couple of minutes walk from the castle, the river, the centre of Carcassonne and the two free car parks.

We feel incredibly lucky to have stayed in this beautiful apartment, just on the edge of the city walls. The view of the castle from the apartment window is incredible! The location is fantastic. It is 10 minutes walk up into to the cite and 5 mins walk into the lower city through a beautiful park. If you don't feel like a stroll, there are many restaurants just 2minutes from the apartment, aswell as a couple of shops for groceries.

The apartment was very clean and modern and we really felt comfortable and at home.

Inga is amazing! We loved her! She picked us up from the airport and made sure we were settled in. She is so friendly and genuinely cared about our stay. When she knew she had a spare half an hour that coincided with us leaving, she also took us back to the airport. There was no need for her to do that for us and we were really touched.

We had such a fantastic stay in this apartment that I began googling for flights and availability in it on the way home from the airport!

It really is a holiday gem that we feel very fortunate to have found. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Inga! We will be back!

The (English) owner spontaneously offered to pick us up from the airport so there was zero hassle in getting there and gaining access. She gave a thorough overview of the apartment and immediate locality so we knew where to find everything. At the end of the week, when my limited French failed me, she also booked a taxi for our return to the airport. Five star service.

The view of the old city from the apartment is outstanding. It was magical to just sit and gaze at it, floodlit, in the evening after we'd returned from a restaurant. There are two small shops minutes away that sell the basics and a good selection of nearby restaurants that range from 'excellent' to 'very good', plus one we found that 'could be better'.

We had a great time.

We stayed here one October , beautiful apartment with everything you would need, warm and great location fir visiting the castle area and the shopping area of carcassone a short walk away, the view was amazing of castle ,the apartment was lovely and clean and the owners were very helpful my email to my booking ! Would recommend to all my friends and family and hope to return myself soon !
