“nice church”
Reviewed November 25, 2012

in one sense its just another church, but it does have a rich history behind it. also i did very much like a board inside the church informing visitors of how to behave whilst int he church which belongs to "the roman catholic cult". finally they admit religions a cult. had a good giggle at that one.

“Wow!”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

This was an amazing Basilica to visit! All made of stone, with no painting on the interior walls, or ceiling. And the stained glass... So much of it!

“Experience enhanced by choral chants”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Upon entering, the basilica was filled with the beautiful voices of a Russian male quartet, chanting Russian religious music. This heightened our appreciation of the beautiful 13C stained glass windows and exquisite statues as we quietly absorbed the somber atmosphere. A memorable experience!

“A wonderful cathedral”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

We too were lucky enough to be in the cathedral when the four Russian singers were performing. Their voices resonated throughout the cathedral. We had tears in our eyes. They were superb and so was this cathedral. The stained glass was beautiful with the sun shining through. A very memorable experience.

“Architectural and musical beauty resonate”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

We were simply enjoying the beauty of the building and artwork when we were transported by a superb concert by a quartet of Russina singers who made excellent use of the acoustics to fill the church soaring voices and beautiful hymns. And the best part - it was unexpected and free! I will cherish the experience for a long time.
