We were 4 people at dinner at the beginning of November on a Friday night in holiday time. We tried to go on Thursday without a reservation but there was no space, so we made a reservation for the Friday night. This was a wonderful dinner! It is a really nice space, big fire which our food was cooked over and fun music that people were bobbing their heads to without it being intrusive. Wait staff extremely friendly. We had a nice white wine which the waiter recommended, and for starters the foie gras (tasty) and the hot goat's cheese salad (chevre chaud) which was just AMAZING! Probably the best starter we have ever had. It comes with eggplant and a cheese-tasting sorbet, and the combination was really, really incredible. Do yourself a favour and go there just to eat this. For mains we had whole fish roasted over the hot coals in front of us, and tartare canard (raw duck that has been marinated and flavoured - all very tasty). The tiramisu desert was great. All in all, a really nice meal, and very good value. 25 Euro per person for the meal set, and the wine was 16 Euro. I would definitely return! Thanks Cathar restaurant!
