We stayed here for 3 nights as part of an organised tour. Our room was adequate with tea/coffee making facilities, a good sized bathroom, very limited wardrobe space and no drawer space only open wall shelves. A good location for the castle it only being a few minutes walk away but on the outskirts of the main town (it took us about 35 minutes to walk to the station and canal where there are boat trips) but it is a pleasant walk. Breakfast buffet had a very large selection to choose from (unfortunately on our last morning another tour group had breakfast before us and many things had not been replenished). A nice outside seating area to use during the day and evening. Evening meal was ok but only one option which may not suit everyone (if you are booking this independently the meal choice is good)
.No problem getting code for WiFi and reception was good.
