I booked this for my husbands 60th birthday and it did not disappoint. The whole experience was fantastic, I checked earlier in the week and reserved my table which is in a small intimate room upstairs. The food and wine to go with the meal was fantastic. We had fish dishes and desserts first class too. The waiter and waitress added to the whole wonderful experience and my husbands dessert came with a sparkler and everyone joined in to sing happy birthday to him.
We will return!

That this restaurant chooses not to open until 7.30 in the evening when countless other generic establishments in La Cite offer "non-stop" service suggests a higher quality from the outset. So, don't be put off by the closed doors during the day, ring up and make a reservation (English spoken). The building also hides the enclosed internal terrace, so al fresco dining is still possible.
The cooking uses the freshest of ingredients imaginatively put together; we both chose fish dishes for starter and main and with the excellently priced 19 Euro wine accompaniment were able to sample four different types of fish and four different local white wines. Dessert came with another glass of wine each!
Overall, thoroughly impressed by this restaurant and would definitely return!

We were lucky to secure a table here for our only night in Carcassonne. The whole experience was without a doubt one of the best meals of our entire holiday. When we stopped by during the day we requested a corner table with a view but were told they were heavily booked and it might not be possible. On arrival that night we were delighted to find our table was in prime position looking out both corner windows! The start of more delights....great service, wonderfully prepared local produce, (amuse-bouche, olives, liqueurs and sweet treats all complimentary) all a veritable regional feast. We had eaten at Gordon Ramsay's Petrus a few weeks prior and the Chocolate Bomb here would give Gordons' a run for the money.

Having found this gem of a restaurant through Tripadvisor we ate there twice! The food is really delicious, with a fairly extensive wine list. The menu is flexible with a few specials available each evening. I recommend the fabulous ravioli of foie gras. Amazing!

Went with partner and two other couples at end of a boating holiday on Canal du Midi. Restaurant was full, not surprising for a Saturday night on Whitsun Bank Holiday weekend - luckily we booked online using restaurant's website link. Welcoming and professional service, with good, if slightly precious, recommendations for wines. Excellent food, and good relationship quality/ price (around GBP50 a head for 3 courses plus wine). Very well located inside medieval City and right next to ramparts. Thoroughly recommend.
