Le Trivalou was a nice treat after a busy day of exploring the old city and then walking around the lower town. Conveniently located just below the fortifications of the old city, this tiny restaurant is both cozy and friendly, with reasonable prices for prix fixe dinners. One of us had the fish pasta and the other had the cassoulet. The portions were huge, tasty and very filling. We really didn’t have room for dessert, but the offerings were so intriguing, we couldn’t help ourselves. Service was quietly efficient. It wasn’t the most memorable meal of our trip by any means, possibly because of the incredibly busy day we experienced beforehand, but we did enjoy ourselves at Le Trivalou.

This small restaurant, on the road below Le Cite, was within easy walking distance of our accommodation. Recommended by our host we enjoyed it so much that we ate there twice in our week's holiday. Attentive but unobtrusive service and interesting menu choices. The Parmesan Panacotta with Aubergine Caviar was a new experience and delicious. Would definitely recommend if in the area.

This tiny restaurant was only a few doors from our B&B and was very good. There are only about 6 tables but the service was good and the food excellent. it seemed to be very popular and i wold go again if I was staying nearby.

Maybe a dozen tables, counting those both inside and out. Small but interesting menu. Impressive cooking, and excellent wine, all at reasonable prices. (Possibly closed Monday & Tuesday)
