“Imaginative, tasty cuisine”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2013

A small but varied menu - each course was beautifully presented and tasted great.
There was also a very relaxed, unstuffy atmosphere.

“Wonderful interesting food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013

Ate here one evening as we were staying nearby at the Hotel Canal. The decor and ambience was great, very helpful staff who could explain the menu. The food was a really interesting mixture of french and asian flavours. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food; we would certainly come here again if in the area.

“Unforgettable!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2013

This is a truly remarkable restaurant. We had a wonderful meal - the escalope de foie gras was the best we have ever tasted and the roast veal was SO tender. The décor is very attractive, particularly the many different types of lamps and the location by the side of the canal is very peaceful.

“A revelation!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 1, 2013

The owner worked for Alain Ducasse and Paul Bocuse [1] before he went to Sydney and Asia. You can really see and feel a true master at work. I don't know how many hats Gault Millau gave them but I can compare it to places in Switzerland with 17/18 hats, which is top notch.
The plates are wonderfully presented and the chef comes personally to pick up the plates when you've finished your meal! The price value is incredible and a fine Languedocien wine card completes the Asian/Mediterranean fusion.

A must eat!

“Excellent interesting food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2013

A very enjoyable meal on a Sunday evening in early March - the atomsphere was good with most of the tables occupied. The food was excellent - a tasty blend of French food with asian flavours. As someone has also commented the wine list is a good local selection and reasonably priced. Overall the bill for two of us for three courses and wine was c€85 - good value for Aigues-Mortes.
Location is a little of the beaten track - (unless you're staying at the excellent Hotel Canal which is almost next door), - about 5/10 minutes walk from the town gate but plenty of parking - but it's well worth finding.
