after spending several hrs. in the Chateau de Versailles, we came across the hall of mirrors and it was very interesting to note that mirrors were a sign of wealth for the french aristocrats. The room was full of beautiful chandeliers and mirrors.

Just a spectacular hallway in the Palace of Versailles. Once you've been there, you'll never forget it!

Go Early and walk until you drop and then go to the Carriage Museum. The Hall of Mirrors is INCREDIBLE.

This is actually just a hallway connecting the kings and queens bedrooms. I guess there is no sense in being wealthy if you can't flaunt it.

A hall with mirrors. Big deal. Built by a despot at the cost of starving millions. Don’t go...it really isn’t worth it.
