“nice if you don't mind the crowds”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

Like everything thing else in Versailles, this is as if it was made for a king, because it was very impressive, but you can't go in and you can only see if through a blocked off open doorway. You really miss so much.

We oly saw the chapel from the entrance as it was blocked off. Like everything else at the palace it was grand.

“Truly a beautiful chapel”
Reviewed June 15, 2012

It is definitely a royal chapel. Although on my visit we were not allowed inside the chapel. We were allowed to gawk at it's beauty from the open double doors. Be sure to take in the ceilings.

“Amazing Acoustics in Wonderful Setting”
Reviewed June 10, 2012

The first time I visited the Royal Chapel was to marvel at the painted ceilings and splendid architecture. The second time I was lucky enough to attend a Haendel concert featuring The Academy of Ancient Music. If you have the opportunity to attend a concert at the Royal Chapel, do so. You will be richly awarded with food for your ears, your eyes, and your soul. The Royal Chapel is a visual and spiritual feast.
