This is not the Notre Dame of the bells, the hunchback, the medieval architecture and the lines of tourists. It's a beautiful church from, I think, the 17th Century. I was there early in the morning on a Saturday and there were only 2 others there. You just walk in and soak up the peace.
If you want to light a candle there is an honor box to buy one, take coins as there is no way to make change. It's not somewhere that you need to carve out hours to visit, it's somewhere to stop in, take a deep breath, look at the beautiful architecture and then go back on your way into the hustle and bustle.
