This is our 4th trip to Paris and we've had spotty luck with eating out in all parts of the city. Before heading out tonight, we consulted TripAdvisor and selected this place for price and good reviews. Very good choice. I initiated everything in French but the waiter was very happy to serve in English. This was professional service, too: he always knew what was going on at our table, but we never noticed him until he was there refilling our wine glasses.
The food was very good as well. The Thai beef salad had nicely grilled beef, about medium-rare, and using good-quality cuts that were tender and lean, with a subtle dressing on green beans and salad leaves. My only beef (sorry!) was that the soy was there but the ginger was lacking. Still, a good dish and a solid value. The salmon tartare was lovely and nicely paired with the cucumber-yoghurt sauce.
