“Great sangria, lots of delicious small plates”
Reviewed November 10, 2013

Who can resist small plates? I love tasting several things and everything here was good to great. The Sangria was refreshing. The interior has lots of Spanish/bull-fighting memorabilia, and we were on a Hemingway tour through Paris last trip, so it was fitting. It was good. I had potatoes with Spanish chorizo and a Spanish inspired quiche. This place was reasonably priced, tables were not too terribly crowded together and service was attentive and congenial.

Several vegetarian options, as well, and lots of variety for the price.

It was dark and rather romantic inside, with chile pepper lights over the bar. Stepping just outside, the view of the façade of Saint Paul's is iconic.

“Delicious lunch!”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

We stayed on the street that this cute restaurant is on and it was recommended by the owner. We went there for lunch and it was absolutely delicious! So glad we went. My partner got the duck and grape salad and the duck was perfectly cooked and sliced. I was far more hungry than him and got the 3 courses for 16 euros. I started with grilled cheese and tomato on toast and it sounds so simple but the herbs and type of cheese made it just devine. I then had roast mediterranean chicken which was full of flavour, and then creme brulee! Can't go past it in Paris. We speak no French but the waiter could explain almost everything and was kind and extremely patient. The neighbourhood is brilliant to walk aroud for shops too. Try it!

“Great little tapas restaurant”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

Randomly ended up here for lunch as we passed it on the way to the Musee Carnavalet. I was really glad as the food was great. We had a number of tapas, including a tortilla espanola, which I loved, chorizo, small clams, pan con queso, etc. Was very happy with everything I tried. And as a bonus, the sangria was really good, much better at least than most sangria served in U.S. restaurants. Would highly recommend, and would definitely go back if we ever go back. Also, for Paris, the prices were reasonable.

“Brilliant!!”
Reviewed June 10, 2013 via mobile

Great atmosphere, great service, great food, great sangria, great staff. We were recommended this place by a friend and really enjoyed our visit. The waiter reccomended that we have 4 plates to fit into their deal (16 euros for 4 tapas, or 1 plate for 5 euros) but was happy to have 4 plates on the deal and then 2 extra so it was more cost effective for us. The place was packed so clearly extremely popular too!!

“Tapas, atmosphere, service.. fun.. All Good”
Reviewed May 22, 2013

We ended at this place just by chance.. we wanted to go to another place some locals reccomended us (traveling in Paris for Business with other colleagues). It was pretty late and all places were fully packed. Casa San Pablo was also full, but since they had some small tables outside to start ejoying a glass of wine, we decided to stay. It was such a good choice!!! The staff was really nice with us, gave us reccomendations took time to chat and talk about life (many of them Spanish, so we could chat also in Spanish). Place is cozy and ambient is fun.. big tables in general (not the couple-romantic style)
We asked for a bit of everything to share... tapas, raciones, main courses, we ate a lot, and drank very good Spanish wine, and Sangria, and and and.. all together, we spent hours at the place, the guys did not rush us at all and spent 50 euros each for the whole night... very good deal
