Description: Au Petit Sud Ouest is specialized on Duck and duck / goose liver (Foie gras). You have to like duck !! Open for lunch from 12 to 2:30 pm (last order at 2:30 pm) and dinner from 6 pm to 10 pm (last order at 10 pm). Better to make a booking. We are closed on Sunday and Monday and August. We have a shop too... Open from 9 am to midnight. Take away lots of differents "Foie gras" (duck or goose liver fresh or by tins)

Great place. Didn't realize it was mostly duck dishes, but was not disappointed in the least. Had the duck breast and duck l'ornage and both were excellent. Service was good and wine was great. Would highly recommend.

As others commented their foie gras was reasonable and tasty. In addition, their wine was also reasonable and has good selection. I highly recommend this restaurant for foie gras, duck, goose lover.

“If you like duck ...”

If you like duck and duck pate, as we do, you will love this restaurant. The pate and the duck stew were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is very Parisian, the service is very attentive and friendly, the wine selections excellent and the price is very reasonable. A most enjoyable dining experience.

“Charming”

We dined there last Thursday night based on earlier TA reviews. Although we arrived earlier than our reservation, the very charming owners were able to accomodate us; it actually worked out better for them. We enjoyed our salted foie gras toasted at table and the Medoc recommended by our hosts. My roast duck breast was perfectly pink in the middle and very tasty. My husband chose the cabbage stuffed with duck and was pleasantly surprised with an almost Greek-like flavor--cinnamon? We will be back!

“What a great evening!!”

We booked our first night in Paris based on previous comments for my wife's birthday. From the reservation all the way past desert was excellent!! Our reception was great, the food was outstanding, the foie gras was a hard act to follow, the duck stew in red wine and duck confit won't be forgotten. We booked very late and they were actually already fully booked, but when Chantal heard it was for my wife's birthday she immediatly said she will make a plan. She was the perfect hostess and made my wife really feel special on her special day, champange and present included!! We cannot wait to go back!!
