I have just gotten back from a meal at coco and co. Our meal consisted of an omelette to start followed by a portion of pancakes and a fruit bowl. Unfortunately we never got a chance to taste the pancakes. An hour and a half after entering the restaurant we were still waiting for them. We decided to cut our losses and leave. We paid for our meal in full, despite only ever receiving half of it. We than informed the manager (who seemed to be suffering from the side effects of some stimulant) in a very delicate and non accusatory manner of the massive delay in the time it took for the food to arrive. His response: [--] off you should have gone to McDonalds (he managed to get this out as he wiped the sweat from his brow and then picked up a new plate of food to bring it to an unfortunate customer). …….we had just paid 25 euro for an omelette in his place.
We had heard that this was a good brunch in Paris, and to be fair the omelette was nice and our waiter was pleasant, but the response from the management to this very legitimate complaint left us lost for words.
I would recommend that people avoid this place if they are looking for a pleasant Sunday afternoon brunch. And just to clarify I live in Paris and I am completely used to the famous Parisian temperament….this was something different.
