After meeting the lovely husband and wife team running this gem of a bistro we wished there had been time on our vacation for a second visit. The owners are great, and the excellent food is a bargain when the quality, preparation, and variety are considered. We had lunch prior to walking down Rue Moufftard to purchase items for dinner in our apartment. What a great afternoon.

I must say that I was disappointed:
- Service was friendly but very slow and obviously super stressed. She was expressing that verbally
- The lamb côtelette was a lamb côtelette. Nothing more and nothing less.
- Because it took the service so long to bring me my wine I had red white wine for the main meal.
- I was still hungry so I ordered a starter which was the reason why I give 3 and not 2 stars. The starter was good -> see picture
- Overall I paid for 2 glasses of wine and the food + espresso 45€ which is way too much for what I've got / experienced
-> Lovely place but highly overrated and expensive

This place checks all the boxes for classic French food...small room, 8 tables, no a/c, all menus written on a chalk board, and a great experience. We had good food and wine, a fun server who spoke perfect English (thanks to tv), and crowd mixed with tourists and locals alike. If you are looking for an authentic French dining experience, and happen to be near the Pantheon, then this is your place.

We ate here for dinner in May '16, it was absolutely wonderful in every way. The owner/host was very pleasant, he seated us, took our order and served us and he was delightful. The restaurant is very small and only has a small number of tables (oh so Parisian) so make sure to make a reservation, I will eat at this place again.

If you want a beautiful, cosy, friendly restaurant with a perfect French menu, then eat here!
From the moment we arrived we were welcomes with the feeling that our enjoyment was the most important thing of the night.
The menu had five choices for each course and we tried them all. Not one dish failed to impress - the flavours, presentation and quality of the food were just superb.
A perfect evening. We will come again.
