This place checks all the boxes for classic French food...small room, 8 tables, no a/c, all menus written on a chalk board, and a great experience. We had good food and wine, a fun server who spoke perfect English (thanks to tv), and crowd mixed with tourists and locals alike. If you are looking for an authentic French dining experience, and happen to be near the Pantheon, then this is your place.

We ate here for dinner in May '16, it was absolutely wonderful in every way. The owner/host was very pleasant, he seated us, took our order and served us and he was delightful. The restaurant is very small and only has a small number of tables (oh so Parisian) so make sure to make a reservation, I will eat at this place again.

If you want a beautiful, cosy, friendly restaurant with a perfect French menu, then eat here!
From the moment we arrived we were welcomes with the feeling that our enjoyment was the most important thing of the night.
The menu had five choices for each course and we tried them all. Not one dish failed to impress - the flavours, presentation and quality of the food were just superb.
A perfect evening. We will come again.

If you appreciate good food in a neighbourhood bistro, then you have to go! From start to finish, the food was excellent. Lamb, pear salad, molten chocolate cake paired with fine wine and plenty of time to savour all of it. Highly recommend!

I went to L'estrapade with friends this week and we were blown away by the quality of the food. From starters to dessert everything was perfect. This is a small restaurant and you must book ahead, but if you're in Paris do not miss out on eating here. Our service was excellent! We were the last to leave and could have stayed all night we enjoyed it that much.

I had an amazing duck main and friends had pork and fish. The starters were lovely; an amazing poached pear salad, white asparagus, salad and escargot. The chocolate dessert was the best I have had - you must try it! When the chef walked out at the end of the night, everyone in the restaurant applauded her. That's when you can tell its a good meal.
