We found this restaurant thanks to Trip Advisor and also due to the fact that on Mondays several other suggested venues were closed. After visiting Notre Dame make your way over to Isle St Louis to enjoy lunch at this cute restaurant. It is very unassuming and you could easily miss it when walking along the street. When we arrived we were the only ones there but 2 other couples soon followed. The formule (14 euros) - set menu- is very good value and everyone enjoyed their traditional French fare. This is well prepared food, thoughtfully served but without any airs and graces. The restaurant is located in a very old building that requires quite a climb to get to the toilets! Put this on your list when visiting Paris. It is far better than any of the meals we ate at the very prominent cafes whose tables face all of the touristy areas!
