“Stylish apartment in good location”
Reviewed November 25, 2013 for a stay in March 2013

This is a lovely spacious top floor apartment in an attractive house in the elegant and safe 7th district. It was a 15 Euro taxi ride from the Eurostar. It is very stylish and colourful with original artworks on the walls, attractively furnished with quality materials eg Designers Guild cushions etc. It is in a quiet side street without any traffic noise yet is only a short distance from the metro and buses and within walking distance of many attractions including the Eiffel Tower and the river. The apartment is also close to numerous restaurants, a street market and a wonderful shopping street (Rue Cler) specialising in upmarket food. It was warm and cosy even in very cold weather. It is on the second floor but there is no lift so not ideal for someone with mobility problems. It is lovingly equipped as a second home with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. It offers the experience of being a real Parisian and we have no hesitation to recommending it.

“Perfect Location, Perfect Apartment, Perfect Hosts”

Perfect location, perfect apartment and perfect hosts. The apartment is well laid out with a living room, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and a double bedroom. It is bathed in natural light from two large windows in the living room and the bedroom. What makes this apartment special is how lovingly it has been furnished - the co-owner has adorned the walls with her own wonderfully colourful paintings and there are artifacts and quirky pieces collected from their various trips around the globe. This gives the place a warm, personal and spiritual feel. The apartment is situated in a quiet residential street, away from Paris' hustle and bustle but only a couple of minutes away from the action...and the Champs de Mars, Invalides and the Metro! The owners - Rafic & Jasmine - were truly lovely. Rafic helped us get the most from our stay with advice and tips based on what we wanted to see and do, which proved invaluable. In summary, if you want a perfectly relaxing stay in Paris...stay here!

“An exceptional hospitality in Paris”

Rafic and Jasmine are the perfect hosts! My son and I really enjoyed staying at their charming apartment, which was nicely furnished, convenient, and clean, with ample supplies. The unit had a charm and character that clearly came from the loving and artistic landlords. But most important to us was how caring, kind and immensely helpful Rafic was to us in our three short days in Paris. He is in extremely well informed person who has much deeper knowledge than most concierge at five star hotels. And, he is openly sharing that with you! He had stacked the fridge with food for our arrival and had just gotten a fresh baguette for us. He was always available if we had any questions, and we became good friends. I will certainly recommend their apartment and will look him up again next time I am in Paris. Merci Rafic et Jasmine!

“Spacious, Charming & Colorful Apartment, in a great neighborhood”
Reviewed November 24, 2013 for a stay in May 2013

We could not have asked for a better rental experience! This apartment was charming, colorful, comfortable, well-equipped, and perfectly located in a great, safe neighborhood, within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame and many other attractions. There were many cafes and little markets right in the neighborhood, making dinner an exciting, but very convenient, adventure every evening. Our hosts, Jasmine and Rafic, were absolutely marvelous; offering excellent guidance and assistance on shopping, restaurants, museums, etc. They had even stocked the kitchen with staples, such as fresh bread, butter and eggs. They were so warm and friendly, it was like visiting with relatives in Paris! If you're looking for sterile, cookie-cutter white walls, this is not the place for you. However, if you want an opportunity to experience Paris like a native, you will absolutely LOVE this apartment. We would return in a heartbeat!

“Awesome Apartment - Even More Amazing Hosts”

The apartment is beautiful and eclectic. Charming is an understatement. Everything, EVERYTHING, you need is there. Kitchen was not only stocked with many appliances but with fresh fruits and food, yogurt, butter, honey, etc. etc. There was an espresso machine and full pantry. This is not a place you come just to sleep. You actually want to spend time there! About Rafic & Jasmine. My wife, 5 month old and I felt like were came to Paris and were visiting with family. They welcomed us with open arms, carried our luggage for us, brought us into their home (which is next door) and had coffee and a fabulous spread of croissants and pastries waiting for us. It was just what we needed after a long trip. We felt cared for and entertained well. They literally thought of everything. DON'T MISS THIS PLACE! On top of everything else it is a great location. They were wonderful hosts!!

“Great base from which to explore Paris”
Reviewed November 24, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Rafic was a wonderful host, always ready to answer any questions, from the time of booking through to the end of the trip. He helped us find a great taxi service (Green Shuttle) that brought our group (we were traveling with both sets of parents, who lived at a nearby hotel) from and to the airport.

Kitchen is well stocked, and we loved the window overlooking the treed courtyard. Furnishings and decor were excellent, wi-fi and phone worked like a charm. A real home away from home!

Other notes:
1. Close to transportation. 5 minute walk to the metro (lines 8 and 13) and a plethora of buses (lines (phone number hidden) and 92) also within walking distance get you to the main attractions in the city in less than half an hour.
2. Access to sights within walking distance. Champ de Mars (8 minutes), Eiffel Tower (20 minutes), Invalides (less than 5 minutes), Musee Rodin (10 minutes) give plenty of options to fill "gaps" in daily itineraries. For serious walkers, Pont Alexandre III, Grand/Petit Palais, Champs Elysees, Musee d'Orsay, Place de la Concorde and Trocadero can be reached in half an hour or less.
3. Access to food/essentials. Rue Cler is about 10 minutes by foot, but for cheaper alternatives, Carrefour City by the Ecole Militaire metro station is convenient. Ecole Militaire is also where you can find classic French cafes. Avenue de la Motte Picquet is dotted with restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies, etc. Other excellent dining options can be found on Rue St Dominique, 15 minutes away by foot.
4. Safe, residential neighborhood. Perfect for people seeking a refuge from the bustling tourist crowds.
