Description: A kitchen without frills or trim so scaffolding decoration. A fresh, seasonal cuisine where everything except the ice cream is homemade. A card that changes every 5-6 weeks to work products of the moment. Here the product before commissioning is done by himself and seasoning with many spices and herbs. Fresh cuisine without excess fat, which allows customers to enjoy 3 courses. A kitchen that wants tradition and French base, but do not hesitate to cross borders for inspiration and originality of the products elsewhere ... In short, a simple kitchen, light, and realistic that sticks to the current well-being.

This little restaurant is cosy and serves excellent set menus. Do not miss it. It is located round the corner from the Champs Eysee and the owner is a real help in choosing the wine.

The food was tasty, and the service was very good. They have a wine celler, and it was realy nice that we was told to go down in the seller to pick upp a bottle that we want. The vaitor came down and he told us storry about grapes and taste. This was perfect. He recommend a wine that was so good.

We ate at the Cave twice in our week in Paris. The food was consistently good and what you would expect from a typical french restaurant. Lovely and varied entrees, good mains and the chefs special (veal) was great the first night, ran out of the special the second night (apparentyly the lunchtime crowd loved it). Deserts were delicious. As only one of the party was drinking we did not take the opportunity to descend into the wine cellar but I stuck to the champagne aperitif and the "by the glass house" wine.Very nice red,dry white and a light and sweet desert wine. Service was friendly and helpful they overcame our poor french with some equally poor English but we were able to get the message across all in good humor.

This is a really authentic french neighborhood restaurant. Almost no tourists were there besides myself and i was sent by a local. The prices are moderate but not expensive. No one there spoke a word of English but they tried their best to help us order they do have an english menu but it's missing some of the nuance of the french version. Make sure you have a reservation it's a pretty small place. We had the sea bass, the steak, some scallops and the ribs. I thought the ribs were best my wife preferred the scallops.

We visited the restaurant last night and have to say this was such a good experience. The menu was excellent and everything we ordered lived up to our expectations. The owner was very friendly and choosing the wine from the cellar was interesting. Loved the local vibe and the atmosphere.
