“Best Cocktails in Paris - Great Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2013 via mobile

Visited Paris in April and couldn't wait to have delicious french 75's. No one at any eatery or bar knew what this was until we stumbled across Mimi Palais. The ambiance is amazing, friendly staff and great drinks. We went nearly everyday when in Paris as hotel was nearby. Had lunch on the terrace and it was stunning, the food presentation, the service everything. Must when in Paris for delicious drinks, great food, great service and great fun.

“Terrace of your dreams”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013 via mobile

The atmosphere is elegant, French, classical. The food is fantastic, and do not skip dessert ( When was the ast time you ever saw " Mont Blanc" on a menu and not jus in a Julia Child cookbook? ). Prices are high- but that is common in Paris. The only negative is that it can be difficult to locate within the huge "Petit" Palace!

“Super Frenchy”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013

The Mini Palais is a great restaurant if you are looking for a very Frenchy experience for your vacation. We sat on the terrace (the inside of the restaurant is nice, but normal). The terrace is the only place to sit. Go in good weather - it is covered so you should be ok in light rain. It was super romantic, close to the Seine and on the edge of the Grand Palais. I couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere. It felt like eating on the terrace of a chateau. The food was really good - absolutely no complaints. It was suggested to me by a friend who lives in Paris. The terrace has a very glamorous feel to it. I am so happy we ate there!

“Lovely”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013

Reserve a table on the beautiful terrace, a serene setting with its peristyle of imperial columns, sweeping view of the surroundings, restored mosaics, wicker, linen and potted palms. It is located in the left wing of the Grand Palais through the Alexandre III rotunda. The menu was designed by three star chef Eric Frechon (Le Bristol) who installed his protegé Stephane d'Aboville as acting chef. The service, food and presentation were all excellent. A particularly nice touch was the giant, warm Comté cheese gougère served with our pre-dinner drinks.

“Truly is a mini palace”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2013

We recently visited this restaurant after a day of shopping along Champs des Lysees without a reservation and they accomodated us. Beautiful location and ambience with both indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a resident cat, which depending on your taste was interesting. The food and waiter were great, he offered excellend suggestions on food and wine. One possible downside would be its expensive, between 2 we spent $200, but it is definitely worth it for us and that was with entree, main dish, dessert and a bottle of wine for both
