We visited this restaurant twice, since it was just across from our hotel and we were impressed by the friendly reception, good service and fresh quality of the food.
We particularly liked the bruschetta and rocket salad with parmesan shavings. We ordered one portion of each to share between three people, and were immediately given three place settings.
You can choose between homemade or dry pasta, and both were excellent. The pizzas are nice and thin, and freshly baked. The tiramisu, made on the premises, had too much cream and too little rum for our taste.
It is advisable to reserve, since it is obviously a popular place for both tourists and locals. Only one member of staff spoke English, so if you don't speak Italian, it is wise to choose items on the pre-printed menu. If you choose the chalkboard items, you could end up with octopus or squid.
This is good place for a family outing, but probably not for a romantic night out, since there is too little space between the tables to guarantee privacy.
The restaurant doesn't open until 19.30.
