Walked past Olio Pane Vino while looking for a place to have dinner that was quiet. Looked at the menu, seemed alright, walked in. From the first moment it was a terrific experience. The olive oil was decent, the ham we chose as an entrée was the best we had during our period in Paris. I had linguini with tomato and eggplant sauce, which was good, but the top marks went to the risotto with mint, which was absolutely delicious. The menu was short, really short, but there was no need for more. The desserts were also perfect. Meat was lacking in the main menu, but that was not a problem.
My experience in Olio Pane Vino was close to flawless. Quiet place, the waiters were efficient and nice and the owner strolled around the tables asking if everything was okay and talking to costumers. He even noticed we were Portuguese and spoke a bit.
