I know we are in Paris, however I do feel, as a tourist, that perhaps the menu could have an English translation. (a lot of non french speakers visit this area) Our food was excellent and well priced, but on the translation side my wife's, "fish of the day", turned out to be a quiche with some flaked salmon. She was not amused, but the quiche was delicious!
The wine selection was very good and the service warm and welcoming. All in all a good experience

This is our local, neighbourhood cafe. The food is OK to good but the people watching from the corner couldn't be better and the staff are friendly and "somewhat" attentive. There is a jovial atmosphere that draws in tourists from the nearby hotels and locals alike.

We had dinner here with two small children on a Friday night. They were preparing for a big night but welcomed us for early meals. It was a sincere welcome. They were very good with the children and in meeting their needs. The service was excellent, the pitcher of rosé great and the food was delicious. Great value for money. A bit noisy but as said above it was Friday night in The Marais.
Loved the welcome, the atmosphere and food. Promised ourselves another visit next trip when we don't have the grandchildren.

We enjoyed a very pleasant visit to this typical busy bar-bistro. Internally chaotic with waiters and diners everywhere but this added to the enjoyment. Obviously well-patronised by locals as well as by tourists and all ages represented. Service efficient and friendly. We had Norwegian salads which were excellent and very filling; also good house wine [sancerre, of course] and decaff coffeee which tasted as good as the real thing. Stay as long as you want and soak up the atmosphere.

Nice place, out of two one meal was mediocre (overcooked, hard chicken), the other one was just perfect.
If staying once more nearby, I would nevetheless try a second time (guess who had the good serving...)
