“OMG.. I almost ate the plate .. yum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2012

This is a little out of the way near Sacre Coeur/Moulin Rouge area, but its worth the trek, or taking the subway there just to eat.
If I had more time during this trip, I would have went again. The gentlemen who worked there was very friendly and had excellent recommendations. Agreed, its a very local area, so don't expect the english to be great, but that's why its a gem, and we got by.
We had the foie gras to start, and we had duck and something else.. both were incredible and finished off with macaron fondue for dessert.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and its a must for me next time I go. It was the highlight of the trip!! ($70CAD for 2 including wine)

“The experience that you visit Paris for”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2012

We visited Lui's after walking around the Sacre-Coeur area and had two dishes, fish and chicken, with a glass of wine for lunch. There were a number of local people in the place and although we struggled with the menu, both my wife and I just loved the dish we ordered. As I told the waiter when we were finished, this was exactly the experience we were looking for when we decided to visit Paris - a small place away from the tourists with excellent food and service.

“A gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2012

Lovely restaurant with around 8 tables outside just a few moments walk from Place de Clicy and Montmartre. Popular with locals so we were lucky to secure the last table. Menu, which is pretty extensive, is only in French, chalked up on a blackboard (ditto wine list) but the waitress helped us to understand what we were ordering. Our starters and mains were very good indeed, portions generous and good value. Ended up being too full for dessert. The staff were very friendly and most helpful. Will definitely eat here again next time we visit Paris.
