Just returned from a few days in Paris and wanted to catch the football games. Had seen this pub on trip advisor and came across it during a tour of one of Paris' churches! So glad we did! This place has a great atmosphere - the French seem to love it as much as the British - it was pretty packed both times we visited. Drinks are quite reasonable for Paris - around 7.50 euros a pint - even better during happy hour. We didn't eat here but did see some people eating and the food looked good. If you just want a little home from home amidst that madness that can be Paris on a bank holiday weekend then the bombardier is it. Staff very friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend this place.

This is a great place to have a proper pint in Paris. We stopped in a few times and had great service. They have free wifi and it's a conveniently located behind the Pantheon.

The church across the road was featured in Midnight in Paris. Take a picture on the side steps, then step into the pub for a pint.

Not so much a review but a paean to a fantastic welcome in trying circumstances.
I'd rung earlier in the day to ask whether they would be showing the British Lions v Melbourne Reds match. Yes they would and please come along. When we arrived at around 11.15 they clearly had a crisis on their hands. Builders working in the area had cut off their water supply without warning and there was no way that they could open the restaurant. However we were welcome to stay and we had the whole place to ourselves to enjoy the Lions' 35-0 victory. Thanks very much to the young lads running the place and in particular the Paris born manager with perfect English and a Birmingham accent.

We were wandering around the area on the way back to the hotel and decided to stop in based on reviews. There were about 10 English beers on tap including the Banana bread ale I had only seen before in bottles. It was much better from the tap. It was a nice place and decent atmosphere and strange to only hear English. Definitely an ex-pat location as there was a wedding reception going on and a lot of the Queen's English being spoken. Did not try any food but the Sunday brunch sounded intriguing. If in the area of the Pantheon and needing some beer and English, give it a try.

We stumbled across this pub whilst walking in the Latin Quarter in Paris! Lovely setting, ambience, food and service! Plat de jour was beef stew cooked in ale which tasted fantastic! The Bombardier pint was excellent. Unfortunately they had run out of white wine but I was offered an excellent rose instead. Very reasonably priced too! Well done to Charles Wells brewery!
