Description: In his cooking, Cyril Lignac expresses a modern version of traditional French gastronomy. Uninhibited, graphic and uncomplicated cuisine that is also generous and authentic. The chef's leitmotiv, applied with and by all his team, is to highlight the very best of local and regional produce and showcase the work of small-scale producers and artisans. It is this vision of a balance between modernity and tradition that Karl Fournier and Olivier Marty, two talented interior designers from Studio KO, set out to reproduce for this Michelin-starred venue of fine food. The two of them, who share Cyril Lignac's affection for light smooth lines, endeavoured to create a cocoon-style interior that is both cosy and contemporary. In the dining room, the warmth of velour-upholstered bench seats sits easily with the mineral-style modernity of walls in black mosaic. The tablecloths and tables are chic and add new light to the restaurant's hushed atmosphere. The flattering evening lamp fixtures turn softer and gentler as they delicately shroud diners, seemingly leaving the star role to the food and the comings and goings in the kitchens, partly visible through a wide bay window. And that is not forgetting the terrace, a vast area protected from traffic and the buzz of the city by a drape of greenery. An oasis of peace and quiet, ideally located in a pedestrian alley, just a stone's throw from the Parc Andre Citroen.

We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. It was just amazing! Every course was beautifully served, perfectly paired and left us wanting more.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday.

The restaurant itself is very cosy, even though I have to admit that it was a bit fresh inside.

We had the "menu de dégustation" and as we had one person who cannot eat any fish, they were flexible enough to change the menu for him and replace the fish.

The different parts of the menu were truly excellent, but I have to admit that portions are not very big. If you are a big eater, do not forget to take a piece of bread with each menu, otherwise you might end up hungry.

We had the matching wine with each of the menus, as I am not a wine drinker myself I can only rely upon the judgment of the other people at the table, but they all said that the wines were excellent.

Cyril Lignac came personally to each table and greeted each guest by shaking hands with them. During the meal he stopped by one more to ask whether we were satisfied. This made him really very likeable to us.

The only strange thing all of us noticed - do they save electricity on the toilets? None of us have ever been to such a dark toilet. There was basically just one very , very small lamp and a candle...

As for the price of the meal... yes, the price is high! But as the food was really excellent we can live with the fact of having spend so much money for a meal.

we went to this restaurant as recommeded by friends, most of the critics were laudatory. we really are disappointed with the quality of food for an establishment of that rank and practices with respect to tariffs.
We hope that this was just a bad evening because there seems to have potential.
regrettable for us because it was a bad experience.

Fourth time ! Certainly the best one ! You know, when you eat in the restaurant of a "famous" chef, sometimes prices does not reflect the quality of your plate ! Here, it is really different. Each time was a great experience. And this one, better than ever. You feel everybody working in the perfect way to improve all the time the quality of your diner. Not only in your plate, but for the service, the ambiance, the kindness, the efficiency of the waiters. Everybody wants you to have a great culinary experience, and more : A really great evening. I really recommend this place.
Cherry on the cake, if the Masterchef Cyril Lignac is not in holiday, his kindness and disponibility with his clients is most appreciate.

Really nice place - I had a sashimi and Steak and both were excellent. the sashimi had an unusual preparation - I hadnt tasted anything like it before and the steak was juicy and perfectly done. Sophisticated fare and somewhat unusual preparations so dont expect traditional French fare. Note that the size of each course was quite small (by American standards). I loved it b/c I ate everything and didnt feel bloated at the end of the meal, but some might complain. Overall, great food and nice experience.
