Great food but the atmosphere was completely ruined by the very loud and very bad music. I went for an engagement dinner in February and had to sit through Ja rule and George Michael Christmas songs at full volume. I know it sounds like a petty complaint but when you are spending a lot of money of a lovely meal the easiest thing to get right is the music and so the atmosphere. What's more, I asked several times to turn down the music as it was quite loud but was basically ignored. The food here is great but the atmosphere is terrible unless you are a big fan of having the atmosphere 'dressed down' through loud unpleasant music. I would not visit this restaurant again.

Don't miss it if you can get a reservation. Worth the trip to Paris.Eat in cellar if possible. Friendly staff and wonderful young American owner-chef.

My experience at spring was phenomenal. I went with a party of four and treated to a 5 course meal that knocked my socks off. It is a small restaurant on two levels, great for an intimate dinner. There is a fixed menu, so tree is no ordering. The server just asks if there is anything you do not eat. Honestly, this was the best part of the experience. The course came and there were several things I would never ordered on my own; all delicious. If you are an adventurous eater and enjoy simple elegant food, go to spring.

We tried for 3 years to come to this restaurant and it was worth the wait! Great, imaginative food and warm and very competent service at a very reasonable (by Haut Paris standards) price.
Our new favorite restaurant in Paris!

A set, fixed price [not inexpensive] menu that changes daily. Treat yourself. The food was excellent, as was the service. As the chef is American, so too is the clientele--we asked the server if Parisians dined here--no! An exceptional meal/experience.
