“Mouth-Watering ”
Reviewed December 26, 2013 via mobile

A short walk down the corner into a secondary street you find this tiny and warming Asian Restaurant.
Me and my sister chose two different menu mix so to try more varieties at once. The main frame of the plates is vegetarian even tough plates are served with hog and beef.
The food is delicious and lightly-served and plates are very well presented and designed. The price is far below the average of Paris second-tier restaurants and perfect for a couple unwilling to spend too much money for eating without compromising the quality.
Enjoyed it and absolutely suggest it.
Give it a try.

“Lots of vegan options, friendly staff, and scrummy food!”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

I found this place on the internet before taking my trip, it was fairly easy to find, and not far from the metro stop. There's also a bar up the street from it that has a happy hour 5-8pm most evenings were you'll probably find the cheapest pint of beer in Paris for 4euros.
Tien Hiang is a lovely little restaurant, very cosy and very packed! we liked it so much the first night we went back the second, and there was queues outside both nights, it certainly is a loved little jem! The menu was overwhelming, we mentioned we were vegan and they said pretty much anything on the menu can be done, the staff were very helpful and friendly. There were so many options, more than I've ever seen on a vegetarian menu, you can tell the owners know what and how to cook proper vegetarian food. We had the black pepper style beef and the satay clay pot, and we were not disappointed, the flavours were bold and the dishes were very filling. The prices aren't bad either, especially for the portion you get, each main is around 8euros and starters around 4euros each, great value for such a nice restaurant in Paris. We would definitely go back again given the chance, I don't think it will be too long until these folks have a larger place or even a second establishment, as it is a booming business, and rightly so! Enjoy, try everything if you get the chance...

“Really great food - would have eaten every night if I could!”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

We had a great meal at Tien Hiang. It was so nice to know, as vegetarians, we could order anything from the menu.

We ordered a lot of food and it was all delicious - the sweet and sour pork and the duck in BBQ sauce were favourites, the hot pot with peanut sauce was also really good.

It's definitely a restaurant worth seeking out if you're a vegetarian in Paris!

“Delicious veggie food in a city where it can be difficult to find.”
Reviewed July 25, 2013 via mobile

So I didn't just happen upon this place, I needed to research and make a special trip, but it was worth it. It's all vegetarian. They use fake meat. They can make things vegan if you need. And the lunch menu (appetizer, rice/noodles, entre, and dessert) was only 11 euros. Cheap, yummy, and totally vegetarian.

“Good Southeast Asian vegetarian food”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

As a vegetarian couple visiting Paris, we purposefully sought out 100% vegetarian and vegetarian-friendly restaurants. Tien Hiang was a great cheap and cheerful all-vegetarian choice. The menu, which can be viewed on the restaurant's website, is large and diverse with options for tofu and various mock meats. We had the shared appetizer plate, sweet-and-sour mock pork with stir fried vegetables, and the clay pot with mock duck, tofu, and mushrooms and other Asian vegetables. Our meals were enjoyable and very good value. The only downside is how crowded and small this restaurant is. The tables were very close - in some cases, touching. Still, the food was very good with many fresh vegetables, and, if time permitted, I would have been happy to have made a second visit to further explore their large menu.
