Paris is not known for pizza;however The Pink Flamingo is changing that, one cheesy, gooey bite at a time. My wife and I ate there after arriving at our apartment pretty late in the evening. We didn't have any expectations, but found ourselves pleasantly surprised by the food and service. The menu had a few classics and some more inventive combinations. We ordered the Five cheese and The Che and both were excellent. We even enjoyed the leftovers for a picnic the following day at Versailles.

There is apparently a few of these around the city. I went to the one near Canal St. Martin and it was worth the trip. The pizzas had unique names to go with the unique toppings. The Basquiat was topped with salami and fig. Wash it down with a beer, just not the house brand.

I am writing a review for the Pink Flamingo at 105, Rue Vieille du Temple
Service can range from average to very good but that shouldn't dissuade you from visiting what i genuinely believe to be the best pizza in Paris and so far the best pizza I've tasted anywhere! The menu is a gastronomic delight, with toppings ranging from a good old fashioned cheese/tomato and fresh basil to a L'ho Chi Minh which comprises a classic pizza base and adds to it a Thai style sauce, Gambas and shredded chicken... Simply amazing! The prices range from 10 Euros to 16.50.

Inside,it is kitted out like an like an American Pizzeria, albeit it a small one, with a seating of around 15 places, the music played is usually indie style/rock on ol fashioned jukeboxes. There is also the possibility of dinning in a converted VW camper van that is parked outside the restaurant.

Enjoy folks!

105 Rue Vieille du Temple, Paris
A genuine boutique-style pizza restaurant located in the Marais district. Small shop with space for up to 15 diners; additional seating was available outside in an old combie van.

We had a to die for Basquiat pizza with: jambon, gorgonzola & figues. The service was great; friendly, laid back & very rive gauche. Thin crust & cooked speedily to perfection.

Pink Flamingo beer is a must to accompany the pizza. C'est tres bon.

Definitely worth a visit here or at one of the other five venues located around France.

This pizza was excellent by far. Quaint little place on a quite street, but the vibe is nice, relaxing, and easy going. I had the La Dante-no special topping but it was delicious. The pies are made for individuals but can certainly be shared-I was quite surprised that I was able to finish the my whole pie.

The staff reminded me of laid back California boys and they were super friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Also the option to dine in the bus parked out front was really cool too.
