We dropped into Havanita for dinner one evening on a whim. The place looked busy so our thought was that it must be good. We were not disappointed. We experienced great service, great wine and great food. My only disappointment was that I did'nt discover Havanita sooner.

We randomly came across this place on a Tuesday night around 10pm. It was still very busy. We managed to get a table but had to squash together as there were 5 of us on a table meant for 4. The atmosphere was very vibrant with some music going in the background. We skipped entrees and then the service was very very quick to bring out our main orders. The mixed grill option was really tasty, including some cuts marinated in some sweet spices, and the beef was nice and juicy. The fish was also great - particularly the swordfish steak. The were slightly disorganised as they forgot a glass of wine which was to come with the meal, and they were very slow to bring the bill. Five good sized main meals came to a total of 91 euro (no wine).

I was amazed to cocktails too light for cuban tradition! My daiquiri was as a lemonade! Food just normal but too dry (no sauce). Very good dessert. Good atmosphere (live music, photos and colours). Open untill 2.00 in the night. Typical location. At the end and for these reasons, too much expensive, i say.

Good drinks, but just okay food (I'm from Florida, so we get better Cuban here). The place is hopping tropical pre-Castro kind of joint, though, so we had a good time. Our server Andres was fluent in Spanish and English (to address a previous review). There are probably better places to get your Ropa Vieja fix (and our ceviche was a real disappointment) but the food was decent enough not to distract from a fun evening.
Probably more expensive than it should be, but it's Paris, right?

Very expensive restaurant for the quality which was average and we were expecting to be attended in Spanish since it is a cuban restaurant with the menus in Spanish as well but none of the waiters knew neither Spanish nor English.
