I wrote a review previously and somehow it was not posted. So, I will make this short.

We had a very satisfying dinner at la Diane one night before the night we came here. So, we had higher expectation. The presentation of foods were definitely very exquisite. However, we believe too many elements were used in some of the dishes which just simply did not compliment each other. Brick of feta cheeses were too strong for fish. Bitterness of cabbage covers the aroma of truffle. Aged chedar cheese with truffle oil stood out by itself, no need for company of strong taste of toasted nuts bread.

So, we were little disappointed by the food per se, feeling there were some link missing between the appearance and taste.

We went there for lunch, i had the scallop appetizer and fish entree. The lunch tasting menu is actually very cheap, around $52 euro. Would definitely recommend friends to their restaurant. Michelin starred restaurant with cheap price.

I had a very nice evening with my boyfriend here. The staff was extremely friendly and asked my boyfriend if we had something to celebrate (the waiter thought we were newly weds, was funny!)
We choosed the 7 course surprise meal and we were not dissapointed. With amuses and dessert it were 11 courses, pretty much! The cocktails were delicious, they're worth their star!

We picked this restaurant because of the many good reviews from the tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. The dishes were innovative yet unpretentious, beautifully presented, and extremely tasty. The Oyster special from Oleron with Buckweat sauce and cauliflower mousse complimented each other to perfection and was presented so artistically that one hesitates to devour it. The frog legs with garlic bouillon was cooked just right, though it can do with a bit more salt. The green fregola that accompanied it was something I've never tried before and was tasty and has an interesting texture. The mallard duck with Grand Veneur jus was simply heavenly. For main course, we had a pigeon with truffle which was very nicely cooked. The black truffle risotto unfortunately was a bit to salty to my taste. Our desserts: Apple-Aloe Vera, flaky pastry, compote & sherbet, and Comice pear- Sesame with several texture in a crispy tube brought our meal to a culinary climax. The only complaint I have is that we were placed in a very small table which appears to be set up temporarily between proper tables, which were vacant throughout the evening. The staff were friendly and most accommodating as we changed our orders more than once and they were still all smiles with not a hint of impatience. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for contemporary French nouvelle cuisine.

My mother and I had the seven course/four (actually there were five) wine pairing meal for our Thanksgiving dinner and it was phenomenal. The servers were all extremely friendly, polite, and attentive. Our food was beautifully presented and everything came at a perfect pace--they were clearly watching the tables and serving when we were ready. We felt like we were being treated as queens. If anything, we couldn't keep up with the wines--we had an abundance of glasses by the end of the night! This was a splurge for us and meant to be a very special occasion--it more than exceeded our expectations. We're still talking about the things we ate even months later!
