Description: Pershing Hall is a great restaurant in Paris found in the East Quarter and offers a wonderful ambience during both the day and night. The pretty open air patio (complete with a glass roof for colder times) designed by Patrick Blanc is perfect for breakfasts and business lunches in the sunshine and transforms into a cool bar lounge area from 6pm, a haven for the hip and trendy of the city. The kitchen serves up a seasonal menu which is continually changing and combines traditional French recipes with those from around the world. The wine list is well chosen and features a wide choice from many major wine producing regions of France as well as some rather rare vintages too. Pershing Hall's ambience depends on the time of day: breakfast time is a peaceful time of day whereas lunchtimes become more buzzy and evenings offer a more fun ambience. Sundays play host to a superb buffet brunch between 11.30am and 4.30pm. Enjoy the sounds of the DJ in the lounge bar during the evenings where a large choice of fine champagnes are on offer alongside a great cocktail list and snack menu.

If you want to impress, get dressed up and go for a cocktail dahling! The lighting turns everyone sultry and secretive. It is grown up and rather sophisticated and you might like like to play along. Next time we hope to make it out of the bar and into the dining room.

“Great atmosphere but a little overpriced.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2013 via mobile

I must start this review by clarifying that the 4/5 rating was definitely not for Value. We paid €160 for two glasses of wine (the cheapest) two mains, and one cheese plate.

This restaurant is in a beautiful part of Paris with thriving nightlife, it has an amazing chic vibe celebrated though the decor, the DJ playing from the the top level and the beautiful 'model look alike' staff. The staff were very accommodating and helpful even though we didn't speak French (we make an effort though with basics).

The food was very good. I ordered the black cod and every element on the dish was flavoursome and the fish was cooked perfectly. My dish was fulfilling but my husband and our friends chose different dishes and received quite small portions for a similar price. Hence we felt it was definitely not value for money.

Although we didn't have to t is expected to tip the guy who directs you to the toilets at the bottom of the stairs - this is strange for Australians.

Also although the staff were friendly they seemed to rush us out as soon as they saw we had finished our deserts/cheese plate.

All in all it was a good 2.5hrs but just be prepared to spend a bit of money.

“Contempary Boutique Restaurant”

Fantastic decor, very friendly staff, excellent food, great music, can't recommend it highly enough. It looks and feels like a club and has that kind of vibe, I found it unique. The steak served medium rare was as good as any I've had.cant recommend it highly enough.

“Amazing restaurant/Lounge bar, very trendy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2012

We went to this place for a friend's birthday diner.
We were 11 people so we got one of the two center tables with sofas.
Best location so see and be seen!
Indeed, this is THE spot to be...
Great ambiance with a DJ mixing from one of the balconies overlooking the patio. A vertical garden has been setup, a huge one, really: over five floors high! A wow effect!
During summertime the glass roof can be opened, then you'll feel like being in an open but hidden secret place, far from the speedy parisian life and streets.
Beautiful people everywhere, people working there are very sexy too.
Don't even dare getting there too poorly dressed, you'll feel out of the trend. Be trendy, classy, you'll be in!
Regarding the food, we had a bit of everything as starter (shared plates). This was a great idea. Delicious. Then most of us ordered the Black Cod. It was cooked to perfection. One of the best I ever had. The wine selection is quite wide. Good ones.
Of course the place is quite pricey, but it totally worth every pence!
Another plus is the menu: they have it in french or english!
Oh, forgot to tell you: it's also a boutique hotel, but haven't tried it YET!
I'll be back!

“poor service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2012

I have been here on 2 occasions and both times the wait to get your drink order taken was unbelievably long. each time i went there was a table not far away that had people ordering bottles and the servers were constantly hovering over their table while we couldn't even get them to stop to take our order as we were waiving for their attention.
