Booked the cruise via a Travelzoo offer which came to just over half the scheduled price.

The cruise leaves from the "Statue of Liberty island" at Pont Bir Harkeim just past the Eiffel tower near Champ de Mars. A bit out of the way compared to other dinner cruise options which is perhaps why it is less well known.

Due to board at 6.30pm there was no boat in sight until a few minutes past 6.30 so we were a bit worried! But it arrived and departed on time at 7pm. As with other cruises the route took us along the river past Notre Dame before turning round and back to the starting point.

The meal was very nice and the option we booked included a full bottle of champagne. Starter and dessert were set menu taster dishes each of five items. There was a choice of 3 main course items. The food and champagne were very good.

Staff were efficient and friendly. The exception being a rather pushy on board photo crew who took what seemed an eternity and didn't want to take no for an answer. We bought one photo for 15euro.

The Travelzoo offer for the champagne dinner was £99 for the two of us compared to a claimed £179 full price. At £99 it was about right for a good but not outstanding meal and bubbly and river cruise. I would not have wanted to pay any more. We have previously done a Bateaux Mouches river cruise and the meal on that occasion was of a much better quality.

So I would recommend Capitaine Fracasse if the price is right.

I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and can only agree with other reviewers. Although not cheap, this dinner boat was a lovely experience. We chose the Admiral option, which was 70 euros each and included a tasting entree consisting of 5 dishes, a main course (choices of fish or duck and, for a little extra, steak) and a tasting dessert of 3 dishes, then for drinks a cocktail, a 1/4 bottle carafe of wine, mineral water and a coffee. Bottles of wine started at about 28 euros, and beers were 6 euros for a bottle. The service was slick and professional, as I guess it has to be when you have maybe 300 diners to be served within a limited time-frame. Our waiter asked us if we spoke French, but on realising we were English he switched effortlessly into English and continued to do so for the rest of the evening, speaking to our neighbours in French and then us in English. The food was delicious. The tasting entree is a great idea; I might not have tried a couple of the dishes but having just a spoonful or so of each was a nice way to try new things.
Unlike other reviewers we didn't encounter the photographers so can't comment on them.
The views were of course spectacular. We set off at about 9.45pm, and although a small card was provided to tell us about the floodlit landmarks we were passing there was no intrusive commentary. Between courses we could go up on the upper deck and enjoy the scenery. If we could change anything about the trip it would be to have more time on the upper deck.
Only one negative - on their website it makes much of 'whoever gets here first gets the window seats' - when what seems to be the case is whoever BOOKS first gets the window seats, so don't bother turning up early like we did hoping to get the best views. We booked online about 10 days in advance but it wasn't quite early enough; we still had quite a good view, just not the best.

We booked this floating restaurant for our last night in Paris.
Wow, it was fantastic and the food was the best we had in Paris. The Captain himself came to our table and was a very pleasant man.
The staff was fantastic and made us feel very welcome. The price for such a great meal was very reasonable and I wouldnt hesitate recommending this to anyone who wanted to do this cruise. The lights of Paris at night were wonderful and every single meal that came out was top quality and delicious.
I think alot of locals go on this dinner cruise which was a pleasant surprise away from all the tourists. Well worth it.
Thank you to all the staff and the Captain himself for a wonderful night and a great memory of our last night in Paris.

We enjoyed our dinner cruise very much! We went with 2 other friends visiting Paris. It was recommended by the hotel they were staying at. We have read many unfavorable reviews about these dinner cruises and so reluctant to go on one. Our friends were keen to cruise the Seine at night for romantic dinner on their last day in Paris, so we decided give this recommended cruise a try.( We take Batobus everywhere, the only way to travel in Paris. Currently on our third visit to Paris.)
We check the location, what was included and the cost.. At 70E per person we decided, yes lets do it!
We arrived early and cued in the rain.( No shelter! Can be a problem for some.) But we love Paris, the city of lights, in the rain! My husband had read that seating was allocated to first on board. We were hoping for the best.
And the best we got! We were taken to our very large round table, next to the window! Perfect position! The waiter was very friendly and helpful.
The food quality was much more than what we expected! The entree, the main and dessert were very good. . As it also included, the rum cocktail, the wine, mineral water and coffee, we recommend this dinner cruise for value and quality and a great experience to see Paris at night, gliding along on the Seine enjoying the company of good friends and the illuminated sights of Paris.
The boat is large, comfortable and very smooth through the water. Our view was excellent, but the viewing deck above, affords great opportunities for beautiful photographs of this wonderful city. If you wan to do a night dinner cruise while in Paris, this is the one!

We went there for dinner with colleagues. They need to change the boarding process- at least have shelter for customers waiting for to board.
Besides this, the food, service, friendliness of staff were perfect.
Definitely recommend this place to anyone.
