“Friendly Irish Pub”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2014

We dropped in late in the evening after dinner for a 'digestif' or two. It was quiet so there was opportunity to chat with the staff - a lass from Derry and a Brummie lad who had just started that day. Not too sure where the literary association comes in, however it did trigger a lively conversation with my companon which ranged from Nora Barnacle to Bloomsday. In summary, it's decent Irish bar which I will visit again.

“Great place to watch a gane”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2014 via mobile

I came here looking for a place to watch a game of Champions' league. The atmosphere is different, nice place. I'll try in another opportunity again! For Guinness' lovers

“Very Helpful Staff (Found Canada Mens Hockey for us!!)”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2014

Great pub atmosphere, enjoyable pint of Guiness, and Patrick the French/Irish local we chatted with was very friendly and was very accurate on his six nations predictions! (He also gave us a great Bistro recommendation for the place just on the corner nearby - Le Guersant - delicious!)

The highlight of the evening were the staff who spent ages tracking down the Canadian Hockey for us - now that's what I call service!

With a visit if nearby, drink Guiness, what else!

“End of an era?”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2013

I came to Paris for New Year's Eve and was shocked to see that it looks as though this great institution was closed (looked pretty permanent to me). Whenever I'm in Paris, I always drop in there for a beer. The staff are very friendly and the beer always good.

I hope that this is a temporary closure, because the pub always seemed so lively.
