The apartment was nicer than I expected, well equipped, and in a good location convenient to the Place de la Nation metro stop. If there is a downside, it is on the fifth (sixth) floor. But it has a nice patio and was very quiet. I heard little noise from other residents in the building and no street noise. Yael is a very friendly and helpful landlord.
This was a great experience for my wife and I (who are late 50's, early 60's) for 10 days in Paris. There are loads of great restaurants, shops, and boulangeries within 15 minutes walk that are out of the tourist crowds but still offer great service and value. We asked for a recommendation for my birthday supper and had a great time at the selected restaurant. Access to Metro lines is super and we were able to navigate from CDG with only 1 change of train. The apartment itself is compact but has a fantastic patio and 2 skylights (bathroom and main area) that provide a great living experience. We asked for an iron and ironing board before we got there (not on the amenity list) and it was there waiting for us. Totally fantastic service. Don't let the stairs bother you, by the 3rd day we were able to navigate them without stopping. The Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable and romantically cozy! An overall warm experience for the 2 of us.

The studio was perfect for our short trip, providing everything we needed, including toiletries, tea, coffee and basic cooking ingredients, which aren't always offered in rented apartments. The place was spotlessly clean, and the terrace was a huge bonus. The neighbourhood was typically Parisian, with an excellent bakery on the corner and plenty of local bars and bistros just minutes away. It was very easy to travel around Paris on foot, from the nearest metro station (5 lines) and by bus. Thank you, Yael, for your kind hospitality!
