Yannick Alleno has fun being a chef! He repeatedly pops out of the kitchen to survey the room and smile, and he is happy to talk with customers. This is unusual for one of the best restaurants in the world. By all means go if you can!

Food here is very impressive, up to the standards one expects for a Michelin 3-star restaurant. We enjoyed the tasting menu, over the course of about 4 hours. We were fortunate to have a beautiful, domed dining room all to ourselves. (It appears to be ideal for private parties of up to 8-10 people, so the four of us were a bit lost, but who's complaining. We enjoyed amuses in the bar, with champagne by the glass, before being seated, a very pleasant start to the evening.

Lunch at one of Paris' most prominent restaurants proved a great decision. Excellent food paired with flawless service. The menu itself consisted of an amuse bouche of four small plates. The lunch menu was a starter, a main course, a pre-dessert and a dessert. Finally coffee and petits fours. Food was classical-modern; basically what makes the French cuisine great. Deep flavours in every little detail. I did perhaps miss a bit more creativity, but it hardly qualifies as a point of critique as the food itself was exquisite. I certainly went off with a feeling that I got more than I paid for.
Service is attentive and warm, yet discreet. Professional to the bone. I highly recommend lunch here, and I'll hopefully have time for dinner at our next visit to Paris.

We are an Asian family and had a lovely time dining at Ledoyen. The service was superb and the food could not have been better. Will be back for sure. Have been to all 10 of the Michelin 3 star restaurants in Paris and this one is definitely one not to miss. The ambience and interior are also beautiful compared to many other places. Three thumbs up.

We chose Le doyen because of its history being one of the oldest restaurants in Paris
Wanting to experience the mitchelin star treatment we opted for a 3 star seeing as it was a special treat . Lunch time is a good way to do this as the lunch menu is less expensive . The service was impeccable , the staff were super friendly and even helped us chose our champagne and wine ( we aren't experts !) the building itself is just beautiful, the food was just amazing and the whole experience was so worth it !
The chef came out to chat to all diners which was a unexpected treat!
If you're not used to this fine dining like we aren't , it can be a bit intimidating to start with but just relax and enjoy it which is what we did after a while . Oh and don't even think about how much you're spending !!!
