“truly asian”
Reviewed April 7, 2012

In my opinion one of the best chinese in Paris.
Well this place is busy all they long. The service is avarage but the soupe with prawns dumplings is delicious. Try also dim sum. The salt and pepper deep fried squid, if you are not on diet, is very very tasty. This place is easy rto reach: walking distance drom Port de Choisy.

“Great Chinese food but atmosphere could be improved”
Reviewed July 29, 2011

Apparently, this is one of the oldest Chinese restaurants in Paris. The decor leaves A LOT to be desired but the food is quite good. The service is spotty. Often you have to flag someone down as they don't come over to you to take your order. I thought that the dim sum were quite good as were the crispy noodle dishes with meat. The menu is very long and detailed and you will definitely find something you like on it.

“Service and attitude very poor but Dim Sum ok!”
Reviewed April 25, 2011

Went to this restaurant with my wife and two children yesterday after reading top reviews on this site. The experience was much different for us.. Staff were unhelpful and even made fun of us because we were English and could not speak French!!..

Main dishes were poor at best but I have to say (even though it pains me) the Dim Sums were good! Wouldn't recommend to english tourist who cannot speak French. I am sure their are much better chinese restaurants in the area who will service and treat you better.

“Great spot for groups and trying something new!”
Reviewed May 21, 2010

I went here for the very first meet up of Yelp France with a bunch of Franglish folks and had a lovely evening of Dim Sum. While the dishes were hit or miss--the pork dumplings and the taro rolls were super yummy, the beef wrapped in rice noodles (#133) not so much--what was really fun about this place was just the casual ambiance, the way it was easy to try new things, and how we just sat around a big table near the window and kept passing all these plates around until everyone had their fill. If you've got a big group of friends needing to celebrate something or have a meeting/discussion, I'd really recommend coming here. This style of eating makes for immediate conversation and open-ness, and the service is so quick and good that you won't have those waiting awkward moments that often accompany large group dinners. Well done, Tricotin!
