Was there several weeks ago. All these fine reviews on this site drew us in there. Its a mom/dad shop where dad is cooking and mom serves.

Small, but not crammed, lovely decorated bistro within a minute's walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. My husband and I speak very little French, but that did not hinder the experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice evening with good food.

Our family of four dined here during our vacation in Paris. We wanted an authentic but comfortable dining experience, and we got it. This restaurant is run by a husband-wife team. It is small: only about 10 or 12 tables. Quite intimate. The wife runs the front of the restaurant and her husband is the chef. The food was outstanding! We each had appetizers, entree's and desserts along with an aperitif and a glass of wine with dinner. Everything we were served was exceptional. The service was excellent, especially considering that every table was occupied. Our knowledge of the French language is limited but this was not an issue. We were made to feel right at home. We hope to return to Paris and we will definitely include Restaurant de la Tour on our visit.

A smart, simply-furnisherd, modern restaurant in a quieter area of Paris but very near the Eiffel Tower.

It is only open from Monday to Friday but well worth making a booking. Our French waitress was very hardworking but pleasant and efficient. We asked her about her day and she happily told us that she buys the ingredients in the morning before starting work at the restaurant. There is an 'a la carte' as well but on the set price menu there are a choice of about 7 starters (many featuring foie gras), 5 main courses and 4 deserts. There were also some specials.

We liked the duck with orange and the steak which came perfectly "saignant" as requested with Roquefort cheese sauce. We do find that good reasonbale priced French steaks often concentrate more on the taste rather than necessarily the tenderness but that suits us. (We find that if almost any meat is overcooked very slowly it can be made to be tender). If you want to try the caramelised apples and ice cream you need to order this at the time of the main order as it takes about 45 minutes to prepare.

A very nice restaurant whcih we will come back to if in this part of Paris again. Thank you to all at Restaurant de la Tour.
