Description: We own a charming and authentic bistro from 1900 and we simply offer fresh products from "le marche" that our Chef Erwan le Gahinet puts together to create very tasty French cuisine. French and world cuisine because we litterally are globe trotters of bistros. We travel for food and we bring back authentic flavours from around the globe. We do everything to make you feel at home and very welcome in our restaurant. Only one saying guides us : the pleasure to please! We are opened everyday for lunch and dinner. See you soon at BISTROTTERS!

“J'taime!”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

Loved this place! Could not get a reservation even a month in advance through my fancy hotel, but was able to get the exact night through their website. Not sure why. We were staying near Place Vendome, so getting there was a tiring experience by cab, even at 7 at night. It is out of the way for sure. Getting home by cab was easy though as traffic was much better. The food is inventive and delicious and the owners are adorable! Two guys, one in the front and one in the kitchen. A very low key interior. Nothing fancy at all, but great food and friendly service and somewhat reasonably priced for Paris!

“Fantastic meal”
Reviewed July 23, 2013 via mobile

We booked this restaurant via email two months prior with the proprietor Francois who was very quick with replying. We chose the 9:15pm sitting. The restaurant is situated in a very quiet street 2 min from a metro station, so walking there and back didn't feel unsafe.

It is very popular with tourists due to its high ranking in Tripadvisor. It was great chatting with other guests and the atmosphere was really good.

Francois and the other gentleman run the cosy restaurant on their own, and both were welcoming, friendly and quick to serve us. They explained the menu in English as well as the wine list. A 3 course meal is 32 euro. We had a vegetable tart and foie grad for entree. Both divine! Very surprised by the vegetable tart, fresh produce and every ingredient sang and flavour combination was great but subtle. For main we had a fish and pork belly. Again fantastic choices, my husband's pork was especially delicious. Another diner who came after us missed out on it as they ran out of the pork. Dessert was equally good. The dishes came out really fast. I was very impressed by how efficient they ran the place and at the same time still being attentive to the guests. We felt very well looked after the whole time and it was the best french meal we had in Paris, and great value given the high quality!! Highly recommended!!

“'Its alright'”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

First of all I think this restaurant is overrated, it did not leave me a 'remarkable experience' And I am not saying this because i expect 3 Michelin star food from such a low-costed bistro , but indeed there are loads of french locals bistros out there in Paris that does mind-blowing 3 course meal for under 35 euros, so really I cannot be satisfied just because of their reasonable priced menu since the cuisine really is just average and 'alright' like I described in my title. For those who are satisfied, they are properly tourists or not very used to french cuisine,oh tourist again!
For real foodies who wants somewhere casual to dine? Listen to me and go to La Casse Noix or Le Regalarde, you will not be disappointed : )

PS: the waiters are very polite though even though they are very busy

“Fantastic bistro - great ingredients and a welcoming host”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

We arrived at Bistrotters for lunch having seen it rated number one on Tripadvisor and having dined at a Michelin star restaurant the night before. Probably the best compliment is that despite the hype and the comparison, it did not disappoint! As soon as we walked in, the owner greeted us and showed us to the only empty seat in the house, but despite being busy he explained all the options to us in English and was extremely friendly. You can see that he is very proud of what he is doing and he has every reason to be - the dishes are all beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients and are flavoured perfectly. The cold starters were light and refreshing in the 33+ degree heat before moving on to the main event - tender and tangy veal with olive salsa for me, melt in the mouth, caramelised pork belly for her. Both dishes were excellent and while they may not have the lightness of touch of the top restaurants, they are truly a class above your average bistro. Deserts were a delight and all went well with the reasonably priced bottle of red. Coming in at under 100 Euro with 3 courses for two, bottle of wine and tip, it is well worth the trip and worthy of its reputation.

“Fantastic food, Great service Dreamy Bistro”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

We came for lunch, and met creative and delicious in a small place that keep the authentic atmosphere of Bistro with updated overwhelming food. This is by far not a romantic place. I think this is a nice place to eat if you are solo traveler. Booking in advance in a must. Everything was perfect. The Gazpacho Soup was of green Tomatoes with Zucchini foam. The fish was fresh and melted in the mouth. For the last course we share Apricot Mille-Feuille. No words. I will come back and back again as it was such a good experience.
