“Delicious food & friendly waitress!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2014

Ate here a couple of times as it was recommended by hotel staff(right next door) and ended up being very good food! I love that they have an English & French menu. The waitress spoke very good English and was very helpful with recommendations. Can't go wrong, everything we tried was GOOD!

“Good french restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2013

Our French friend has recommended this place to us.
He has booked the table well in advance.
The place has quite good selection of french dishes and vine. Local "brand" desert is a must have. crème brûlée was also well done.
As it's quite usual for Paris restaurants the main kitchen works from about 19-00. Before 19-00 you can still order good cold salads and sandwiches.
One thing to note - the place is crowded at evenings. So table should be booked in advance.

Dinner cost is about 100 Euro for two with vine.

Overall, we highly recommend this place (with booking is table in advance).

“A reliable solution”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2013

The location is very convenient (very close to the Opera), the food was very tasty and the wine variety rich.
Service was good too. Tables were full until late at night and as far as I can say, more customers were locals.
Prices are average (assume 30 Euro per person for two plates and a glass of wine).

“Fabulous Atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

We had a great evening here after stumbling upon the unprepossessing entrance in a side street. It is small, typically French with a very buzzy atmosphere provided by the (entirely French during our visit) clientele and the lively waitress who kept everyone smiling and laughing till the early hours. We had plenty of fun trying to read the chalk board menu, the staff speak very little English and our French is patchy but fellow diners joined in and added to the enjoyment with their recommendations. Food is very traditional and very good, we had lamb and duck both of which were excellent, as was the Cotes du Rhone. Even though I turned down dessert, being completely full from previous courses, Madame brought me a free taster serving of their flan, which was delicious. When we were undecided about whether to order another bottle of wine (after three hours of eating!) we were given a bottle and told we would only be charged for what we drank - amazing service. I really can only think that any bad reviews on this site are from envious competitors or people who don't really like French bistros because I couldn't fault it.

“Neighborhood Find!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 22, 2013

Our hostess at our B & B around the corner suggested this one and we loved it. Cozy place, english menu, waitress was very attentive and helpful, food was delicious! The best part of the evening was the dessert, listed on the blackboard, a creamy pudding/flan that was out of this world.
