My wife and I ended our Paris vacation with dinner at Le Square. The location is very nice, quiet and quaint. It is adjacent to a small park and a church. This restaurant feels like true Paris and not too touristy. The service was excellent and very accomodating. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. This dinner was slightly more expensive than some other meals, but the quality was definitely better and well worth the difference. It was the perfect meal to end our trip.

By the way, the restaurant is adjacent to the Bourgogne stop for Paris bus #69 on St Dominique. This bus is a great route that passes by the same tourist sites as the hop-on, hop-off busses but also passes by this restaurant. Try the city bus and try Le Square. You won't be disappointed.

We went looking for a particular restaurant that was recommended to us, however when we got there we found that they had no vegetarian meals. While walking back we found Le Square and thought we would try them since they did.
Firstly, the service was lovely. They were happy for me to practise my French but also spoke English fluently. I had the sliced duck breast with mashed potato and it was fantatsic - I ate it all which is a feat for me. My partner had spinich and ricotta ravioli which was also good.
I would recommend them, especially considering we didn't have a booking.

It is lean pickings in this neighborhood for restaurants. Before visiting a nearby museum we had lunch at Le Square. The setting is quite lovely, across from a park. The wine good. The service was also good. My fish plat was very good but my husband's raviolis were very ordinary. I could have bought raviolis and tomatos sauce at the monoprix and had the same result. If I were in the neighborhood, I might go back and try some of the other dishes.
